Dr. Yuxing Liu from Honeysuckle Acupuncture Austin

Yuxing Liu, Ph.D., M.D. (China), LAc

Dr. Liu was a faculty member at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of China's leading TCM universities, where he taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students and directed research projects.

As a prolific author, Dr. Liu has written numerous papers, articles, and books based on his clinical experience and research. He has authored ten textbooks on Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of which is widely used by postgraduate students in TCM programs across China.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Liu is a highly skilled acupuncturist and herbal medicine specialist, having begun his practice in 1992.

Dr. Liu's Specialization

  • Pain and Neurological Disorders: Migraine, tension headaches, sciatica, arthritis (including rheumatoid arthritis), neck and shoulder pain, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back pain, hip and knee pain, plantar fasciitis, myofascial pain, postoperative dental pain, and pain from sports injuries or accidents.

Zheng Zeng, M.D. (China), LAc, FABORM

Zheng Zeng began her acupuncture practice in 1994 at the Teaching Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the premier TCM institutions in China. After eight years of practice and serving as a faculty member, she relocated to Austin, where she has been practicing acupuncture and serving the community since 2002.

Zheng Zeng is a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) and a board-certified fertility acupuncturist. In 2011, she was highlighted in the "Practitioner Spotlight" section of the ABORM Spring Newsletter. She specializes in acupuncture for Women's Health.

She has also presented at various professional conferences, including:

  • "Treatment of Female Infertility with Acupuncture" at the 21st Annual Symposium for Medical Acupuncture in 2009 (a symposium designed for physicians practicing acupuncture).
  • "Treatment of Menopausal Symptoms with Chinese Medicine" at the Southwest Symposium in 2008.
